“Sin looked good, felt good, and tasted good, until the honey ran dry.”
I met new author and blogger Rayandria Jiles at a blogging event I spoke at this past summer and she enthusiastically told me about her desire to publish her first book. Fast forward to this weekend, Ray will be a fellow published author!
Her work, Flaunting Sin Never Looked So Good, is an exposure journey through this trench called life. “Sin looked good, felt good, and tasted good, until the honey ran dry. The enemy has a hit out to cheapen your identity, and the easiest way for him to trap you is to ensnare you with what doesn’t appear to be sin. The deception has been thick and tar like, but get ready to submerge and readjust your crown when you come up,” Rayandria shared.
This book has an interesting title, right? What led Ray to write it?
“I found myself annoyed, frustrated, and overwhelmed by the garbage I would observe on social media. You never understand how lost you are until Jesus Christ actually stretches out His hand and saves you. As I scrolled down my timeline, my stomach turned. All the behaviors I once practiced were staring me right in the face. I sat quiet and discombobulated, until I heard God say: Do something about it. Once He gave me the title, it all flowed from there. God is ready to unlock the doors of His Kingdom to His daughters, but there must be an exchange in mentality – from peasant to Queen.
“You never understand how lost you are until Jesus Christ actually stretches out His hand and saves you.”
This book is dedicated “to every woman fighting to resuscitate her inner Queen. May your death be of temporary nature and God breathe fire into your lungs for your highly anticipated revival.”
Flaunting Sin Never Looked So Good will be available for FREE on September 30th at rayandriajiles.com where you can download the book.
