Overcoming the anxiety of being single after 30

I had a continued discussion with Jay Mayo, host of The Right to R.E.A.L. Love Radio podcast on how to overcome the anxieties of being single over 30.

“I never imagined my life after 30 because it wasn’t presented to me as something ideal as a single person…”

This subject is near and dear to me because at 31 I’m feeling less stress about living single and I want to share that message with others. There’s so much purpose, growth and adventure that awaits you in this time of your life, don’t waste it being anxious over something that God is already aware of and has planned out for you. Continue to trust God and His amazing timing.

We now have parts 2 and 3 published on his podcast! Missed Part 1? Listen here

“25 was my desired age to get married and by 30 I would be done having all my kids. And literally, that was it. There was nothing else, there was no ministry, there was no purpose. It was just: go to school, get married, have babies, and do the same thing to them…”

“Be intentional about being content in this time of your life. Be intentional about living for God. You will get tested on that contentment, I definitely have.”
