This week we are going to the beautiful San Diego, California for our next #SingleGoals2020 feature! Krista P. is a single woman of God who is embracing her single season with faith. Read more of our interview below:
BLISS: Share how you are making the most out of your singleness:
Krista P.: “I’m embracing being single after being stuck in an expired season way too long following an over decade-old divorce. I’m open to dating after a long season of being alone. However, in staying true to my convictions, I’m not willing to settle for a man that’s not after God’s heart.”
BLISS: What is one piece of advice that you would like to share with other singles?
K: “If you’d never been married, choose right the first time because it’s the most important decision besides giving your life to Christ you’ll make in your lifetime. If you’ve been married and it didn’t work out, don’t rush back out there. Learn your lessons first. But also don’t stay emotionally connected to someone and something that is gone.”
BLISS:What are you currently doing in ministry or for the Kingdom of God?
K: “I have podcast, host an annual conference for Christian women, I’m also an author and a speaker working on my fourth book.”
BLISS: What project or business do you want to share with the BLISSforSingles audience?
K: “The book I’m currently working on Take the Reins, Beautiful Brave Change.”
BLISS: Anything else that you’d like to share with us?
