This week, we’re heading over to Baton Rouge, Lousiana to talk with Roland B. for the #SingleGoals2020 series! This single man in his early 30s is resilient, creative and compassionate, which you can experience through his work. Let’s get to know Roland in this interview:
BLISS: Share how you are making the most out of your singleness:
Roland B.: “When you are single, it’s the perfect time and place to maximize your gifts and talents. I am using the undivided time to maximize all the things God has put within me and in my hands to steward. This time is allowing me to constantly reevaluate myself to see where I can improve and how I can align myself in God’s vision for my life. I am searching and finding things I like and don’t. I have been travelling more—well not right now with the pandemic. I’ve also been pursing what I can that would be time consuming since my time is dedicated to myself.”
BLISS: What is one piece of advice that you would like to share with other singles?
RB: “I would suggest being bold in your prayers for your future spouse. Ask God to reveal and release the specific person that God crafted just for you.”
BLISS: What are you currently doing in ministry or for the Kingdom of God?
RB: “Well church-wise, I help with the music and production ministry with my church. I am the host of The Glory Road Podcast that is faith-based. I also try to plant a seed through who I meet through my photography business.”
