This week we’re going north to meet with a fellow sister in Christ, Renee K. of Hopewell Junction, New York! Just a short distance from The Big Apple, Renee is a Licensed Master Social Worker, certified coach and speaker and much more. She is active in the Christian singles sphere with her own ministry to encourage singles. Let’s get to know Renee!
BLISS: Share how you are making the most out of your singleness:
RK: “Seeking God’s guidance on all matters and every area of my life, pursing purpose, ministry, and business, making the most of my relationships with family and friends, seeking to travel more and live my best life with true contentment and focus on Christ.”
BLISS: What is one piece of advice that you would like to share with other singles?
RK: “Keep God first, and everything else will fall in it’s rightful place. I think that covers just about everything.”
BLISS: What are you currently doing in ministry or for the Kingdom of God?
RK: “Leading singles ministry in my church and on social media through LOTWSINGLESMINISTRY on Instagram and LOTW Singles on Facebook. Standing for The Light of the World Singles Ministry, I encourage fellow singles with content, events, and an IG Live on relationships, singleness, and relationship with Christ. In all honesty, relationships is an area of my life that has been heavily afflicted in my history of relationships at least. This lead to my desire to encourage others to not settle for less, to be able to identify red flags, and to seek wholeness, purpose, and relationship with Christ so they can have the best God has for them and be equipped for healthy relationships.”
BLISS: What project or business do you want to share with the BLISSforSingles audience?
RK: “My currently project with @LOTWSinglesMinistry is my Instagram Live themed ‘Living Single & Loving It,’ in which I feature guests of various backgrounds to speak on specific topics as they relate to life and their season of singleness.”
